Is Arsenal’s Samir Nasri or Tottenham’s Luka Modric the Better Signing?

Hull are seemingly following the Sam Allardyce route to Premier League survival this summer by targeting experienced foreign stars to aid them in their likely relegation battle this season. This week alone manager Phil Brown has been linked to the likes of Dutch pair George Boateng and Roy Maakay, Brazilian Geovanni and Frenchman Bernard Mendy.
The Premier League title battle will be fought by the usual four clubs next season though one of those teams may have changed drastically from what we have known over the past few seasons. That team is Chelsea.
Reports in the weekend’s press suggest Liverpool are chasing Tottenham’s talismanic Irishman Robbie Keane this summer. The 27-year-old striker has been at Spurs for close to 6 years and has proven himself to be a huge fans favourite. Whereas his strike partner Dimitar Berbatov has been linked away from the club for the past season, this speculation over Keane’s future is a new development and one you’d expect the club not to welcome. After all, of these two forwards I would wager the majority of Spurs fans would prefer to keep their club Vice-Captain rather than the sulky, whinging Bulgarian.
Liverpool’s 6 ft 7 centre-forward is set to leave Anfield this summer with two of his former clubs interested in his services (Villa & Portsmouth). However, 3 potential new suitors are rumoured to be making their move. Those clubs are Man City and bitter North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham (who are also a former club of Crouch).
