True. Wonder how that relates to this topic. I suppose Scolari resembles Lord Voldermort in a way with his short temper and bald snake like appearance...

Scolari has proven himself again and again. He did wonders at Gremio with a weak group and led Palmeiras to the Libertadores Cup and a Toyota Cup game against Manchester United. His club record is very very impressive, too. The only difficulty might be that his English is not so great. City fans can expect Big Phil to use whatever he's given in the most advantageous way. Palmeiras were a hard-core bunch of super-organized bruisers who often won 'ugly'. Given the Brazilian national team to coach, however, Scolari took a bunch of reckless, often selfish indidualists and got them to play in a very unselfish way. The team that won the World Cup in 2002 was awful after Scolari took over. The press screamed for his head, but he turned the squad into a ruthless, organized machine. I just wonder if he'll be able to put up with any capricious crap from the little dictaor, Thaksin.
