The youngster of Ghanaian descent was born in Palermo and broke into Serie C1 side Lurnezzane at the tender age of 15. He made 2 League appearances for the club until some of the biggest clubs in Europe moved in for him such as Manchester United, Barcelona and Fiorentina. However, it was Milan giants Inter that won his much sought after signature.

There’s been a vast array of strikers being linked to the Premier League this summer but only in the past few days have we seen Inter Milan’s forgotten man Adriano Leite Ribeiro mentioned. The 26-year-old Brazilian was rated as one of the best in the world only a few seasons ago but after much controversy and lack of form the striker could be available for a knock-down fee.

Press reports suggest Chelsea are now rivalling Spurs for 2 of La Liga’s star strikers David Villa and Samuel Eto’o. Tottenham’s interest in the pair has been consistent though Juande Ramos will be attempting to sign one of the targets whilst the Blues may be looking to sign both to form and exciting new dynamic forward line at the Bridge next season.
