Leeds United: One Challenge Too Far in the Season the Club Defied the Odds

Leeds United lost 1-0 in the League One Play-off final at Wembley on Sunday to add more misery to a club which has suffered more than most in recent seasons. However, rather than mourn a missed opportunity to start to climb the Football League Leeds fans should remember the 2007/08 season as the season where the famous Elland Road club regained it’s identity, it’s pride and its natural Yorkshire grit.

The Leeds United Points Scandal: Did the Tribunal Go for the Easy Option?

So we’ve finally got the verdict from the Independent Tribunal concerning the scandalous 15-point deduction Leeds United were penalised with this season. Surprise, surprise the decision to punish the Yorkshire club was upheld. Did anyone actually think justice would be served at such an important stage of the season? I personally did not.
