It has been scary to see just how much one man can change a club’s situation around so dramatically but that’s just what Harry Redknapp has done at Tottenham in a few short weeks. Harry seems to have an instant effect wherever he goes but if you’d told me a few weeks ago that Spurs would have drawn at Arsenal, beat Liverpool and then won at Man City then I would have laughed. The team was in a desperate state and it can’t just be that Harry goes around putting his arm around the players it must be more than that. After all, we may as well throw all these coaching badges and manuals away if that’s the case!

Luka Modric: Are Tottenham Fans Impressed by their Croatian Star So Far?

Tottenham were one of a number of the biggest clubs in Europe who’d been linked to the 23-year old Croatian playmaker Luka Modric. But with illustrious names including the likes of Read Madrid, Barcelona, Ajax, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle heavily linked to the player few expected he would end up at White Hart Lane. Yet it was Spurs who announced they had captured the much coveted midfielder early this summer.

Luka Modric: Keane Gone, Berbatov Going, Champions League Here We Come! - Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool & Manchester United Warned!

Tottenham Luka to the Future: Modric Signing Signals Spurs Ambitions!

The 2007/08 season was meant to be the year Tottenham finally broke up the usual Champions League quartet of Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal. Instead Spurs are set to end their campaign in mid-table, which has become an all too familiar sight for Spurs fans over the course of Premier League history. However, the Carling Cup triumph and the recent signing of Croatian star Luka Modric shows that within this famous North London club, ambition still burns as bright as ever.
