I’m going to be honest with you here, this tie is not easy to predict. It is not easy to predict at the best of times but even trickier when both teams still have a game to play before this one. I mean if France lose to Holland and Italy lose to Romania, the World Champs will be out but if both win their earlier game then it really is game on! The possibilities may be endless, well almost, but with thousands of pounds up for grabs, it’s still well worth a £1 punt!

Despite forcing Croatia to a meagre 1-0 victory, Austria - ranked 92nd in the world - confirmed they are here to simply make up the Euro 2008 numbers. Their opening match against Croatia told more a tale of how disappointing Croatia were rather than how gutsy the co hosts performed.

The Netherlands appears to be brimming with confidence as the dawn of the 2008 European Championship beckons as suggested by the words of their coach Marco van Basten - “De wind in de Zeilen Habben” (having the wind in our sails). Even with Martin O’Neill’s words of warning to Everton and David Moyes, there is no denying Villa had a very big slip up right at the wrong time last weekend. Not only did they lose touch with the Toffees, they also lost their goal difference advantage. On the plus side, they now know exactly what they have to do here - produce nothing short of a win.
