“Bringing through more high-quality English players in the future is an absolute priority for the FA.” It may just be a proposal at the minute but with the FA in favour of further exploration into Sepp Blatter’s “six-plus-five” concept, Premier League clubs take note. We all know how time flies in football so managers really should start preparing for such an event. But does that mean holding on to what they have?
