Chelsea v Tottenham: Spurs Suffering Continues at Stamford Bridge?

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

These two London clubs could not be experiencing more contrasting fortunes after their opening two Premier League matches of the season. Chelsea have won both matches, scored 5 goals and are yet to concede. Their new signings have impressed as well as played crucial roles in their early season success. Tottenham on the other hand have lost both their matches against opposition they’d expect to beat, have scored twice (one an own goal), conceded 4 goals as well as have their star player mentally unfit to play. This match looks a no-brainer for Premier 10 and Footy 15 this week.

Everton v Portsmouth: Pompey Finally Pick Up a Point?

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

No Premier League side has had a harder start to the 2008/09 season than Harry Redknapp’s Portsmouth team. They’ve played the top 2 sides in the country in back to back matches and now face a trip to the team that finished 5th last season. However, this is a match that should reveal just how strong the FA Cup winners are going to be in this campaign.

Arsenal v Liverpool: The Gunners Strike Back in Part 2 of this Epic Trilogy?

Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

This will be the second of 3 clashes between these sides in the space of just 7 days. The two teams drew 1-1 in the Champions League Quarter-final 1st leg at the Emirates on Wednesday night but this Saturday’s encounter may not be of as much importance to Liverpool at least. The Reds only chance of silverware this season is winning in Europe and despite a battle with Merseyside rivals Everton for the 4th Premier League spot, the current 5 point gap should be enough. Therefore Premier 10 players shouldn’t be surprised in Rafa Benitez decides to do a spot of rotation ahead of the 2nd leg at Anfield.

Manchester United v Aston Villa: Red Devils Victorious Yet Again Over the Villans?

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

Up until a few weeks ago this match looked like a potential banana skin for the Red Devils as the Villans had picked up impressive draws this season at Stamford Bridge, the Emirates and Anfield. However, a recent run of poor results coupled with an appalling record against United marks this match down as a Premier 10 home win.

Bolton v Manchester City: The Trapdoor Looms for Trotters as Sven Eyes Highest City Premier League Finish?

Thursday, March 20th, 2008

Reading v Birmingham: A Point Apiece at the Madejski?

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

Just one point and one position separates these two sides in the Premier League as both sides struggle against the drop. Even the earlier meeting between these clubs in December ended in a 1-1 draw at St Andrew’s so Premier 10 players should expect a tight encounter this weekend. Fans of a free flowing game should perhaps give this one a miss.

Middlesbrough v Derby: Southgate’s Side Silences the Rams?

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

The bottom side may have picked up some pride following their 1-0 defeat at home to Manchester United but unfortunately like most weekends, they still lost. Despite travelling to a misfiring but defensively solid Boro side this Saturday, Premier 10 players should expect the same result if they want to win the £18,500 jackpot on offer.

Everton v West Ham: The Irons to Take a Hammering at Goodison?

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

The Toffees will be aiming to get their season back on track this weekend by completing a hat-trick of wins over West Ham this season. The Toffees suffered at the hands of both Fiorentina and Fulham last week but will expect to beat an unpredictable Hammers side.
