Classic Pools Preview - 16th-17th September

We’ve picked 10 matches from across Britain that could end in score draws this weekend.

Leicester have faced tough opponents in their opening Premier League matches but they could get a point at Huddersfield.  West Ham have ended their winless run and can carry that momentum to the Hawthorns.  We’ve provided head to head and recent form statistics for ten games we think could end in score draws in our Classic Pools competition this weekend.

2 - Huddersfield v Leicester

Huddersfield (6th PL) and Leicester (17th) last met in the Championship in the 2013-2014 season, the Foxes won both fixtures 2-1 at home and 2-0 away.

Huddersfield were unbeaten in their first three Premier League games, winning two and drawing one, but they were beaten 2-0 by West Ham last time out.

Leicester have lost to Arsenal, Manchester Utd and Chelsea in the Premier League this season but had a 2-0 win over Brighton.

They had a goalless draw last time Newcastle (10th) hosted Stoke (12th) in the 2015-2016 season before the Potters won 1-0 at home.

Stoke lost their opening game 1-0 to Everton before beating Arsenal 1-0 and drawing 1-1 with West Brom and 2-2 with Man Utd last Saturday.

West Brom (9th) won 4-2 in this fixture last season before a 2-2 draw at West Ham (18th).

West Ham stopped the rot of three league defeats on the spin with a 2-0 victory hosting Huddersfield on Monday.

Forest have won four of their seven league matches this season but lost three.  They had a 1-0 win over Sunderland on Tuesday.

Wolves have lost just one of their seven league games this term, they’ve won four and drawn two.  It finished 3-3 with Bristol City in their most recent.

20 - Sheffield Utd v Norwich

They haven’t met since the 2010-2011 season when Norwich (13th) won 4-2 hosting Sheffield Utd (3rd) before a 2-1 win on the road.

Sheffield Utd have won four league matches in a row, they had a 1-0 win visiting Bolton in the most recent.

Norwich have won two, drawn two and lost three of their seven league matches this season.  They drew 0-0 with Burton in the latest.
