Classic Pools: 16th – 20th June

The World Cup kicks-off in Russia and an out of sorts Germany begin their title defence against a Mexican side who can spoil the party. Another close battle could be Peru v Denmark, who both enter the competition in good form. We’ve provided head to head and recent form statistics for ten fixtures we think could end in score draws in our Classic Pools competition this weekend.

6 - Germany v Mexico

Their last meeting was Germany’s 4-1 win over Mexico in the Confederations Cup semi-finals in June of last year.

Germany went five matches without a win before finally getting a narrow 2-1 victory over Saudi Arabia in their last warm-up game.
