The Football Pools business is the world’s oldest football gaming company.
The Football Pools have been giving back to the communities that their customers live in for years. Over the 92 year history, the company have donated over £1.3 billion to the local communities our customers live in via sports clubs, the arts and other good causes. The Football Pools put millions of pounds into football ground redevelopment, when improvements were essential and funds for the game were tight. The Pools also donated cash towards many other sports stadiums, like Murrayfield , and also supported some key theatres and music and arts programmes across the UK.
Recent examples include £6m donated to the English and Scottish Football Leagues during the 2009/10 football season and in 2013, The Football Pools partnered charity StreetGames in a funding arrangement worth £1.7m, to create “StreetGames Football Pools Fives”, a programme designed to enhance the lives of young people in disadvantaged areas and promote change for good in local communities across the UK. Former England player and current England under-21 manager, Gareth Southgate took a role as ambassador for the programme.
So that’s our story….and we’d like you to be part of the next chapter – we’re still creating big winners every week! You could be next!
