Chelsea could keep a clean sheet hosting a Burnley side who were poor on the road last season and teams in the Football League had shooting practice in mid-week EFL Cup matches
7 - Barnsley v Ipswich
Nine of their last ten meetings had both sides score, six of those games finished in score draws.
Barnsley won 4-3 in their League Cup match with Morecambe on Tuesday.
Ipswich were beaten 6-1 visiting Charlton in their final pre-season friendly. They’ve since had 1-0 win over Birmingham in the league and a 2-0 win over Luton in the League Cup.
13 - Leeds United v Preston North End
There have been goals from both sides in seven of their last ten meetings. Last season Leeds won 4-1 away before a 3-0 win at home.
Leeds had a 3-2 win over Bolton in their opening league match last weekend, scoring all three goals in the first-half.
Preston had a 5-1 win visiting Fleetwood in their final pre-season friendly and lost 3-2 at Accrington in the League Cup on Tuesday.
17 - Sheff Wed v QPR
Six of their last ten league encounters in the Championship had goals from both teams.
Sheffield Wednesday were beaten 1-0 visiting Preston last weekend, but won 4-1 hosting Chesterfield in the League Cup mid-week.
Five of QPR’s six pre-season friendlies were on the road and each game had both teams score. Since then QPR had a 2-0 win hosting Reading in the Championship and a 1-0 win over Northampton in the League Cup.
29 - Barnet v Luton
Six of their last eight league encounters had goals at both ends, including three of the last four times Barnet has hosted.
Barnet kicked-off their League Two campaign with a 2-2 draw with Forest Green before beating Peterborough 3-1 in the League Cup mid-week.
Luton smashed Yeovil 8-2 in their league opener last weekend but were beaten 2-0 by Ipswich on Tuesday.
31 - Cheltenham v Crawley
Cheltenham had a 2-1 win over Crawley in this fixture last season, Billy Waters opened the scoring three minutes in.
After losing 2-1 to Morecambe last weekend, Cheltenham had a 4-3 win in extra time against Oxford Utd in the League Cup on Tuesday.
Crawley lost 3-1 hosting Port Vale in League Two last Saturday and were beaten 5-1 visiting Birmingham for a League Cup match this week.
2 - Chelsea v Burnley
Chelsea beat Burnley 3-0 at Stamford Bridge last season. At Turf Moor they had a 1-1 draw.
Only Tottenham and Manchester United conceded fewer goals than Chelsea in the Premier League last season.
Burnley won just one league away match last term and scored just thirteen goals away from Turf Moor.
3 - Crystal Palace v Huddersfield
Their last meeting was in the Championship in the 2012-2013 season, they had a 1-1 draw at Palace before Huddersfield had a 1-0 win at home.
Crystal Palace’s last two home games were a 3-1 win over Maidstone and a 1-1 draw with Schalke.
Huddersfield scored just twenty-two goals on the road last season, only Derby scored fewer out of the teams that finished in the top-ten of the Championship.
4 - Everton v Stoke
Everton won 1-0 hosting Stoke last season before a 1-1 draw in the reverse.
Everton have kept a clean sheet in six of their last twelve matches at Goodison Park.
Stoke have failed to find the net in five of their last six trips to Goodison Park.
28 - Walsall v Oldham
Six of their nine encounters since August 2013 had just one side score. The most recent was a 2-0 home win for Walsall back in March.
Walsall lost their first league game of the season 1-0 to Bury last weekend. They’ve scored just twice over the course of their last four home matches.
Oldham were beaten 2-1 by Girona in their final pre-season friendly, they scored their consolation goal in the 90th minute. They’ve since lost their first league match this season 2-0 to Oxford.
32 - Colchester v Stevenage
Colchester have kept a clean sheet the last three times they hosted Stevenage. They beat them 4-0 in this fixture last season.
Colchester lost 1-0 to Ipswich in their last home match and final pre-season friendly.
Stevenage have won just one of their last seven on the road and drew a blank in three of them. They lost 2-0 to Millwall in the League Cup competition on Tuesday.
