Both teams to score in a bumper weekend of football!

Watford could find the net when they play Tottenham at Vicarage Road and Liverpool have leaked goals in all but one of their seven league away matches this season and could be denied another clean sheet at Brighton.  Check out who’s hot and who’s not for both teams scoring in our Goal Rush competition this weekend.

Who’s Hot:

2 - Brighton & Hove Albion v Liverpool

Liverpool beat Brighton 6-1 in their last meeting in the FA Cup back in 2012.

Brighton have scored in all but two of their seven league home games this season.

A 3-0 win visiting Stoke on Wednesday was Liverpool’s first clean sheet on the road in the Premier League this season.

6 - Watford v Tottenham

Watford have scored in their last two meetings with Tottenham at Vicarage Road losing 2-1 in the 2015-2016 season and losing 4-1 last term.

Watford have scored seven goals in their last three league matches, they beat West Ham 2-0, Newcastle 3-0 and lost 4-2 to Manchester United on Tuesday night.

Tottenham have kept just one clean sheet in their last six league matches and were beaten 2-1 visiting Leicester in their midweek fixture.

16 - Sunderland v Reading

These two teams last met in the Premier League in the 2012-2013 season where Sunderland won 3-0 at home before Reading won 2-1 in the reverse fixture.

Over 70% of Sunderland’s league matches this season had both teams score. Their last five at home saw goals at both ends, they drew 3-3 with Bolton and 2-2 with Millwall in the most recent.

Reading’s last league away game ended in a 2-2 draw with Bolton and they beat Barnsley 3-0 in their game on Tuesday night.

18 - Southend v Oldham

Southend end have scored in all but one of their nine league home games this season, both teams have scored in eight of Oldham’s nine league away matches.

Southend have scored thirteen of their twenty-two league goals in the first-half this season and four within the first fifteen minutes of the match.

Oldham are one of the higher scoring teams in League One this season with thirty goals from nineteen games, but they’ve also shipped the most at thirty-six.

21 - Forest Green v Exeter

Prior to this FA Cup match they’ve already met once this season in League Two, Exeter won 3-1 away.

Forest Green have only failed to find the net in two of their last twelve matches across all competitions. They drew 1-1 with Cheltenham in the latest.

Exeter had a 3-1 win over Crawley in their last away game, but they were beaten 3-1 by Chelsea Academy in the League Trophy competition on Tuesday.

Who’s Not:

8 - Bolton v Barnsley

Bolton won both encounters 1-0 when they last met Barnsley in the Championship in the 2013-2014 season.

Only Birmingham and Burton have scored fewer goals than Bolton in the Championship this season. They were beaten 5-1 by league leaders Wolves in their last match.

Barnsley have lost their last three league matches on the bounce and failed to get a goal in the process.

11 - Derby v Burton A

Burton won 1-0 hosting Derby in the Championship last season, they had a goalless draw on the Rams’ home turf.

75% of Derby’s league home matches this season had just team score, they’ve kept three clean sheets in their last five on home soil.

Only Birmingham have scored fewer than Burton in the Championship this season, they’ve scored just three goals away from home.

25 - Shrewsbury v Morecambe

Shrewsbury have won their last four meetings with Morecambe conceding just one goal in the process.

Shrewsbury won 5-0 at home against Aldershot in their last FA Cup match, one of five clean sheets in their last seven home games.

Morecambe have managed just one goal in their last four away matches.

34 - Schalke v FC Cologne 40

Four of Schalke’s seven league home games this season had just one side score, Cologne have scored just twice in their seven league away games this term.

Schalke are unbeaten in their last seven league matches and kept a clean sheet in four of them.

Cologne are the only team in the Bundesliga not to win a match this season with two draws, eleven defeats and just four goals scored.

35 - Strasbourg v Paris S G40

Paris Saint-Germain have won seven of their last ten meetings with Strasbourg and kept a clean sheet in five.

Newly promoted Strasbourg had a 0-0 draw hosting Caen in their midweek fixture.

PSG have won twelve and drawn two of their fourteen league matches this season scoring forty-five goals and conceding ten.
